Breaking news The Secretary of State for Social Services and Equality, Mario Garcés, announced on Thursday that the Government has drafted a specific bill recognizing the status of a large family to single-parent households with more than one dependent child. Garcés announced this during his appearance at the Senate Health and Social Services Commission, in response to a question from the senator of the Basque Parliamentary Group Nerea Ahedo, who has asked him about the equalization of rights for single-parent families. According to Garcés, the Government has a text "already drafted" that, in the absence of being presented and agreed upon, includes the particularities of families with only one parent and at least two dependent children.
